You're not on your phone. You're under a floor, up a ladder, or stripping a board. The marketing industry hands you advice written for office workers, then wonders why you don't follow it. Robin starts from how the work actually happens.
A finished consumer unit. A new boiler. A repointed wall. By the time you've cleaned up, the van is loaded and you're driving to the next call. The photo never goes anywhere.
"New consumer unit installed today" sounds like every other electrician on the platform. The caption that wins is the one that explains the job in plain English to homeowners who don't know what an RCBO is, and Robin writes that.
Your customers come from a 20-mile radius. National AI tools don't know the difference between a Penarth bungalow and a Penrith barn conversion. Robin's trades layer does, and it writes for the place as well as the trade.
AI cannot generate a believable photo of your finished job. It can shape what you already have into posts that earn revenue. Robin pulls your photos from three places, writes them up in the voice you set at signup, and produces a week of social every Sunday night.
Robin has a layer of trade-specific knowledge sitting above your Brand Kit. It includes:
Four posts across the week. Mixed channels. Mixed post types. Every one built from a real job Aiden did, paired with a caption that sounds like Aiden wrote it himself.
"Penarth bungalow rewire. New consumer unit, RCBO on every circuit, fresh earthing. Forty-two-year-old wiring out the door."
"Steve's van turned eight today. 162,000 miles, still goes. Lasted longer than half my apprentices."
"Landlord EICR explained in plain English. What gets tested, what fails, what we can usually fix on the day."
"August callout slots. Three weekday mornings open this side of the bank holiday if anyone needs a fault traced or a small job done."
Why this mix works. Every post is written about a photo you sent. One shows the finished job, one shows the people behind it, one teaches something, and one asks for the work. Showcase is the trust-builder, education is the search-finder, personality is the relationship-builder, and promotion converts. Robin gives each post in the week a different one of your content pillars, so no week reads as a sales push.
When you sign up, Robin asks you how you talk, who your customers are and what you want to be known for. That builds your Brand Kit, which is the source of truth for every caption Robin ever writes.
Every post you skip counts as feedback. Three skips in a row and the next batch goes to a stronger model with instructions to change its approach. You can rebuild the Brand Kit from the dashboard whenever the business moves on.
The kit holds your voice in three words, how you sound in a sentence, the sign-off you use, your content pillars and a list of the words and claims Robin never uses for you. Alongside it sit your trade, your town, your typical customer and whatever you've told Robin is on at the moment. Every caption is written from that.

No. The few questions at signup are the only writing you ever do, and they're the questions you'd answer down the pub. How you talk, who your customers are, what you'd never say. Robin builds your Brand Kit from those answers and every draft comes back sounding like that.
Phone photos are fine. Robin turns the photo the right way up, lifts the contrast and sharpens it a touch on the way in, and it keeps the picture you sent so nothing of yours is lost. There's no AI upscaling and your framing is left alone, apart from the crop Instagram's own aspect limits force at posting time, so a clean, well-lit shot of the finished job still beats a clever one. The Managed tier includes a quarterly proper photoshoot if you want a baseline of high-end work to lean on.
Robin's trades layer is reg-aware. It won't make efficacy claims, won't promise outcomes, and uses qualified language where the work involves a notifiable circuit or a Gas Safe job. We update the layer when the regs change. If you've got specific accreditations (Part P, NICEIC, MCS, Gas Safe, FENSA), put them in the "Anything on right now?" box on your settings page, because Robin reads that note before every post it writes and it will only name a registration you have given it.
Only send photos you have permission to post, because Robin has no consent step yet and it will treat anything you send as fair game. Robin's trades layer is told never to name a customer or a property that wasn't given to it, and you see every draft before it goes out on Co-pilot. A photo-by-photo consent prompt is on the list, and until it ships the judgement is yours.
For most one-van outfits, Solo is the right call, and it's the only plan you can sign up for on your own. Managed makes sense once you've got two or more vans, a steady job pipeline, and you'd rather pay someone to run the marketing than think about it. We'll tell you on the call if Managed isn't the right fit yet, and recommend Solo.
Not yet, and we'd rather say so than show you a made-up number. The dashboard lists what published, on which channel, with the exact wording that went out, and it flags anything that failed. Reach and engagement figures come from the platforms and Robin doesn't pull them in yet, so that panel stays honestly empty until it does.
If you don't add a card, Robin stops drafting and the account sits there paused. Your Brand Kit and photo pool stay put, so nothing is lost while you think about it. No auto-billing surprises. If you want to keep going, add a card and the next Sunday-night draft kicks off as normal.
The 7-day trial connects your accounts, ingests your brand, and drafts a sample week. If you don't like it, walk away.
